Tropical day in the mountains. "Fair-bruary?"

Snowpack

Didn't get a ton of obs in areas without snowmobile traffic. BTL 6" of light snow above snowmobile hardpack. Lots of wind effect NTL & ATL. Dug in crown of slide, E-aspect NTL. Wind drift was 260 cm deep. 1f to pencil hard slab. Several thin facet layers. CT20 & ECTX on Jan 11 facets (which the slide ran on). Very thin crust directly below the Jan 11 facets.

Went to look at slide in obs_id=30416. Tweaked dimension details in that report. Failure layer a thin layer of 1mm NSF over a thin crust buried Jan 11.
