Snowpack

Recent storm snow settling fast, especially below treeline. On northerly terrain near and above treeline, new snow (~15") showed good bonding to hard slab below. Temperatures still staying relatively cool on the peaks. Snow below treeline being most affected by recent warming, with drainage channels beginning to form on southerly terrain. Snow on northerly slopes staying cool, even below treeline. Extensive sluffing from E-S-W facing slopes at all elevations- limited to new snow. No new slabs noted. Skin wax and a scraper now essential items.
