Weather

This morning - Thin high clouds and very little wind - the perfect greenhouse effect was doing an efficient job of heating up the snowpack. Luckily it didn't last past 1pm. After 1 pm: Clouds thickened to overcast and westerly winds increased, diminishing concerns for afternoon wet-loose activity.

Snowpack

Morning solar was just enough to quickly settle the snowpack. Even northerly aspects may have been affected by this kind of bouncing radiation even though it didn't last too long today. Did not see any additional avalanche activity.
