Weather

Cold and calm, but not clear prior to mid-afternoon. 12* at TH mid-morning. A few puffs of breeze. Skies broken - some patch of blue sky visible most of the day, but lots of clouds in valleys as well. Never got great views of peaks to south or west. A few brief showers. T-2 cm accumulation in past 24 hours.

Snowpack

Soft recent storm snow sitting on older, slightly harder snow from mid-November. Older snow mostly rounding FC w one distinct MF crust. Test propagating above crust. A structure that can produce Persistent Slab avalanches triggered by a person. May not last that long.

Avalanche

Did not get sustained view of peaks to south. No crowns visible on Treasure, Daly or ridge above Carbonate Ck (SE-S-W, ATL/NTL).
