Weather
warm. some "undeveloped snow" early in the am down low, felt cold and wintry up high. light wind becoming moderate near top of couloir.
Snowpack
no freeze below 9000ft. soft freeze up to 11000ish. hard freeze above. hn 10cm at 12500ft and above. hn 10cm at 12500' and higher. seemingly half the new snow came in as graupel, making for some nifty spindrifts and lots of small sluffs from steep rocky areas.
Avalanche
multiple skier triggered loose sluffs (r1 d .5) and a few natural r1 d.5. one of note contained a very large rock.
