-5 degrees calm with scattered snow showers elevation of 9485 ft aspect 45 degrees NE slope was 26 degrees aspen covered pit was dug at app 1200
Snowpack
total snow depth was 106 cm no remarkable hard slab from top to bottom varied between fist and four finger for the entire pack (other report from our area had noticeable hs but was more affected by sun and rocks is my guess) temp was as follow 10 cm -.7c 20 -1.4c 30 -1.9c 40 -2.4c 50 -3c 60 -3.5c 70 -4.3 80 -5.6 90 -6.7 100 -6.2 the snow right next to the ground was not as iced as expected. layer from ground to 70cm was large 2mm + DH 70 to 78 cm was 1mm and appeared to be going to rounds 78 to 106 was a layer of much appreciated new snow. The only test performed was the ECT and we got some fractures down to the 70cm layer at 15 and was what I would call a C3 and did not seem to have any energy upon entering our area we noticed no collapsing or whoomfing
