Avalanche

A visiting friend stopped by and I learned he and some friends were skiing in the Ptarmigan area of Vail Pass on the 26th. While they were out, another group of backcountry users told them that there was a slide in the area they had been skiing all day. When they got there a little after noon, they noted the slide on the skier's right side of the path and stopped to take a picture. My friend didn't take any measurements but he thought the picture might be helpful.
