Snowpack
Ice Crust noticeable on SE aspect - 11000ft, hand shear showed it was about 10cm thick buried 15cm down. Also felt whumph in this same area. Another hand shear on E aspect showed soft slab 15cm on NSF. Depth Hoar found in pit @ 11250, NE, 144 HS, 49cm to ground ranging from 5-10mm in size. (pit was near Carter Lake moraine). NSF layer found in same pit 12cm down. In a different pit, we had an ECTP#26 down 34cm on a suspected NSF layer. Fine dust layer noted in several different pits about 20cm down.
