some hard slab, fresh wind slab, with some fresh snow.

Avalanche

Skier triggered avalanche 1/3 way down second steep gully, on skiers right hanging snowfield. Skier was dragged over rocks and slid about 500 ft. He apparently stayed on top and reported to ski patrol afterwards. Crown was approximately 10ft and rocks and dirt were in debris. That's all I know.
