WEATHER: Mixed bag of weather over the 3 days. Hot, friday on the ski in with super strong solar. Pretty much cooked everything facing the sun. No wind. Sat produced a mixed bag of sunny bursts and blowing snow about 3 inches total. West wind transporting snow up high. Jacket on and off day! Sun was back to burning sun and no wind. Suns out, guns are out! Again anything SE through W got cooked.
Snowpack
SNOWPACK OBS: Toured up Zachary's direction and skied the lookers right shoot. CT and ECT on a W aspect produced no results. HS 150cm. Supportable crust on anything facing S and a mixed bag of breakable on SE and SW aspects. N or dark timber still had powdery conditions and skied great. Ski pen 5 inches. No instabilities seen throughout the day. Sun toured Snodrass. CT and ECT on a NE aspect produced no results. Solid 1F mid pack sitting on our usual faceted base. Strength of the overall snow pack getting better. Soft powdery conditions on N and skiers left trees of 3rd bowl. Crust from zipper to supportable on anything facing the sun. No other instabilities seen.
