Avalanche

On a tour today my partner and I witnessed a snowmobiler trigger an R2.5 D2 soft slab Avalanche in Minihaha Basin. It broke from steep 35+ degree rocky terrain above their high-point. He/she managed to outrun the slide. We were too far away to take photos of the slide. Aspect: N Elevation: Near treeline
