Strong sustainded winds with very strong gusts. Clear skies over head

Snowpack

On the hike up the wind kept the snow pack above tree line firm...wish I brought my ski crampons...no collapsing on the way up. The ski was firm even the skiers left for about 1700ft of the descent. Then skiers left was spring like for the rest of the ski. On the skin out we had extensive collapsing, propagating as far as 50ft away...due to the lack of a freeze at that elevation.
