Weather

Stormy with periods of heavy snow. Low density new snow, ~5%. Wind loading was overall Moderate, but there were periods of intense wind loading. Never underestimate how much snow Monarch can get. This might be one of those times.

Snowpack

17" of low density new snow since the beginning of the year. CTE3Sp/ECTX on recent/old snow interface (E below TL). Same failure using Shovel Tilt w/o rapping on the shovel. Minor cracking observed in recently wind loaded aspects at TL.
