Weather
Mostly clear skies, temps in the 20s, light winds below TL. Evidence of previous wind transport, but none observed today.
Snowpack
Snowpack (75-90cm typical) is mostly faceted with a surface layer of low density new snow. Ski tests were negative (NE-E-SE below TL)- there seemed to be insufficient slab overburden. My trip didn't take me near or above TL, but found fresh WS and minor cracking on exposed SE aspect.
Avalanche
No observed recent activity. Observed debris in the tracks on Mt. Aetna and Bald Mt., but hard to tell when this may have occurred.
