Very good powder skiing in 100cm of dry storm snow with ski penetration of 35cm. Some wind effect making it a little "upside down" in less sheltered places. Snow surface dry in the shade from 1800m down to 1200m. Temp crust on surface BTL on all but dead north.

Snowpack

100cm of storm snow blown off to previous crust on windward side at ridgetop and blown into soft slabs and drifts in lees and cross loaded areas. Easy hand shears but no reactivity under ski and no results from ski cuts on small convex features.

Avalanche

Observed several natural avalanches which happened later in the storm (fracture lines still visible) size one to two. Mostly in steeper, convex terrain in lees and cross loaded features alpine and tree line.
