We went to Seymour so that you don't have to chase your North Shore powder dreams. 30 cm of soft fist snow fell overnight on top of the bulletproof crust. Underneath this crust is isothermal. Unfortunately, there was a pulse of rain and warmth that created a 2 cm crust on top of the storm snow, making for pretty terrible skiing. As far as we could see this was the case to First Pump's elevation, possibly higher. No signs of natural avalanches or other instabilities noted.
