Couple laps in Jimmy Jr Bowl area. Heard some big whumps when skinning near a cross-loaded convex rolls at the top of the slide path lookers right of the bowl. The main bowl skied a bit punchy but still soft. North aspect off the shoulder lookers left was great skiing once lower and sheltered, hard and punchy wind affect near the top. Popped a small wind skin(knife hardness, 5cm deep, 5m propogation, ran 75m) at the top of a couloir/gully feature on that north aspect off the shoulder. Didn't react to a ski cut but released very first turn(I probably cut too high). Some isolated but very touchy windslabs in cross-loaded terrain with great variability in a short space. Tons of coverage and a wonderful inversion to quell -27 temps at the car. Minimal wind in the bowl all day. Roughly 1-2cm surface hoar found on N-E aspects all elevations.
