20-30cm of light powder on N aspects from Burnt ridge. Evidence of heavy wind affect further up the bowl in the Lazy Boy area so we stayed around treeline. Fresh wind slabs at ridge crest prevented us from skiing steeps from the ridge. Some isolated pockets further down slope still surprised (see avalanche tab). Did a lap on the burn on the south side as well - snow was quickly turning heavy from solar input as we climbed back up.

Accidentally popped a pocket of soft wind slab as the rider entered a short but steep and narrow slope. Rider rode out safely. The actual slab was quite small but the slide entrained a lot of loose dry snow.
