Skied taylor lake area today. Five different groups or so out and about. -8 degrees Celsius in the parking lot at 0800. There was no wind all day and light flurries scattered in the afternoon. Cloud cover all day with a low ceiling in the morning lifting around 0900. The approach trail was well-packed with some thin spots and sharks. The lake was well-frozen, with some minor slushy spots at the far end (NE). Loose dry size 0.5-1 was observed off the north face of the bell around 1300. No other avalanche activity was observed. Occasional whumping was heard approaching the bell couloir.

Haffner Creek At 0950, the parking lot was -5. The trail is well broken into haffner despite recent snowfall. Today, there are six parties in total, with six ice flows that can be climbed. Some flows are prone to dinner plating and contain many air pockets. At 1500, the parking lot was -2. The wind was calm or light throughout the day, with broken clouds. No overt signs of instability were noted during the day.
