We skied near the trees when descending the North aspect of Iago. We avoided the open bowl to skiers right, but we did do some ski cuts in the trees and lower in the bowl where it flattens out and did not see any reaction at any point during the descent. At the summit of Iago the snow felt hard-packed and there was a light wind. The snow on the north aspect below the summit was soft and really nice to ski on, it did not feel heavy or wet.

Snowpack

Snowpack at the summit (where this MIN is located) was hard-packed, but the descent onto the northern aspect below the summit yielded deep, soft snow with 10-15cm ski penetration and 80+cm boot penetration (we were waist-deep when putting skins back on at the bottom of our ski line).
