The snow last week gave Torpy a nice reset. However, the February persistent weak layers lurking in the upper snowpack are still holding us back from large features. Sticking to Simple Avalanche Terrain left a lot of good riding options in open, rolling Treeline terrain. We poked over into 2nd Bowl where we found decent powder riding. The visibility was in and out. Winds were calm and picked up during the day but not enough to move snow around. We didn't see any recent avalanches.
