We had great turns in the trees, avoiding steeper slopes and rocky areas with shallow snowpack.
Snowpack
Shovel shear test moderate force (STM and STE) to achieve planar release in bottom 1/3 of slab layer (hoar frost?) and then very easy non-planar release in middle of facets. Compression test moderate (CTM3) sudden collapse in the facet layer. Repeatable with a CTM2 in the same pit. Extended column test hard (ECTP22) fracture propagated across the column at the interface of slab and facets but did not release. Propagation saw test slab fracture after removing 50 cm of interface of slab/facets (PST 50/100 SF down 45 cm)
