Dog Leg Couloir + Bow Summit Trees

Between 40-70cm of loose powder with little to no base in the trees depending on elevation. Really good skiing for this time of year in the trees at higher elevations. Things are much patchier above treeline with some good skiing in sheltered areas but many sharks lurk beneath the surface, especially on wind-exposed features which are still very rocky. The snow in Dog Leg Couloir is much firmer and deeper (although we still occasionally hit rocks on the bootpack), but was very stable and unreactive.
