Mt Macpherson - Womb area

Compression tests CT M 13 & 23; sudden collapse @ 80 cm on surface hoar size 3.0 snow above this layer remains relatively unconsolidated (4F to 1F-). Not too inspiring for skiing on larger open slopes. We opted for smaller glades, shorter slopes and treed areas for the descent. We'll come back later for the bigger terrain... This deeper layer overlying the facetted cold period layers remains a concern for the time being.
