Test profile at 2180m on SE aspect in Blackqueen area. Mid November surface hoar layer (3-6mm) is 70cm down and is main concern. Snowpack test producing variable shear results on this layer in the moderate to hard range. Some shears breaking suddenly while others are more resistant in character.
