Elfin Lakes area

Widespread surface hoar Saturday. N aspects as Paul Ridge and Columnar Peak skiied well (boot-top powder). S aspects were crusty. Sunday about <5 cm fell, and there were moderate winds from the S. Where I dug under the new snow, the surface hoar seemed preserved in many areas.
