10-15 cm of near surface facets with a supportive midpack made for good skiing on all aspects in open trees. Spotty sun crust on steep solars rolls. Below 1850m found a lot of tree bombs had wrecked the snow. The alpine was hooky wind slab to sastrugi. Light snow all afternoon but only added up to a 1-2 cm. Observed a size 1.5 dry loose natural come out of extreme East facing high alpine terrian on The Monarch. Wind probably triggered the near surface facets.
