Walked up Ursus trees towards the col of Ursus Minor. With new snow up to 20cm and greater in wind loaded areas, we had lots of whumpfing on the ridge with no reactivity until we were higher. At 2350m on the ridge I remote triggered a size 2 from 5m away on the east side into dispatch bowl breaking off a piece of cornice. We walked higher so we could see the size of the avalanche. The ski down was good with nice soft powder but feeling the crust more on steeper slopes. The snow below tree line skied nicer but still reactive on steep convex features producing a few Sc size 1 down 10-15cm in one of the hospital gullies.

Wide propagation and the slab varied in depth from 10 - 40cm. In the picture you will see it broke off a slab on the cornice and a slab off the slope below. Also in the picture you will see it stepped down a little in the slope.
