Miller Ck AST 1 course obs

Ast 1 course obs , short tour west of ski area . 10cm of new snow . Winds at treeline were light through the day, and we did not feel any wind affect . No whumpfing or cracking noted. We had a brief window of visibility that gave a view into the Alpine where we could see wind transport occurring with strong sw winds aloft. We saw what appeared to be a small fracture line below some cornices in the Alpine in very steep terrain on an easy asp.
