West Nile Glades

CTE 3 SP down 50 followed by CT 0 SP (failed while isolating the block) down 50. Sudden failure on the January 17th surface hoar layer. Location was at the top of treeline in a sheltered zone that recieved wind loading from both prevailing Westerly winds as well as Sunday's Northeasterly winds. Whumphing and cracking was observed in the localized area of the pit but elsewhere the snow was stable.
