Whymper col

Dozen or so ppl on Whymper Sunday in groups of various sizes. One group up X another group passed. Riding was good from the col, dust on supportive crust, marginal conditions lower down. Valley warmed significantly throughout the day snow was quite wet by 2pm when the sun came out on the return to the car. Someone left an apple core right on the col. Don't litter people we're better than this.

Wind gusts much higher than the forecast called for (20) felt more like 50 at the col.
