Riding conditions were quite good. Mild but freezing temps above the T bar during the day. 25cm new snow at treeline tapering down to 10cm on the lower mountain. A supportive crust is felt under the new snow below 1300m.

Hard, resistant test results 40cm down on needle surface hoar and decomposing forms. Snow above is still quite soft and not forming a slab. Many compression tests performed with consistent results. However, the distribution of the surface hoar was quite sporatic. Snow was becoming lightly wind-pressed at ridgetop.
