We skied, skiers left near the whaleback on Evening ridge in the open trees. We found pockets of suncrust on steep open slopes near ridge line. The new snow was not wind affected except we saw a big wind slab on the big convex roll on the whaleback. The last 100 meters to the road was survive skiing with logs, sticks, bushes and open water. Ski quality was very good.
