Quick report

80cm of snow at Lepsoe Basin cabin at 1900m. Snow is right side up and settling/bonding. There are thin melt freeze or rain crusts down 35cm and 45cm, the latter being a laminated double crust about 1cm thick. Snow from 45cm to ground is 1F rounds and very supportive and firm. Foot pen 50cm, ski pen 15-20cm. Skied the cutblock and didn't hit anything. The trees look close to skiable, which is crazy for Rossland in mid November. The significant amount of heavy snowfall in a relatively short period has even laid the alder down better than usual. Overall outstanding conditions for November with great base building snow. Fingers crossed for more goodness and no badness!
