Weather

Gusty west winds, temperatures slowly rising. We not above freezing before I finished field work. Wind also keeping snow surfaces cool.

Snowpack

East slopes below treeline appeared as expected, snow melted from around rocks, and a significant decrease in snow height from last visit. Roller balls visible from rocks. No sign of Wet Loose in start zone.
