Weather

Clear skies in AM; Few clouds by early afternoon. Mostly calm except at highest, most exposed elevations. No wind transport. Warmer than 5/2, with more intense radiation.

Snowpack

Transition to spring snowpack is not yet complete at upper elevations.

Avalanche

Some additional activity late yesterday and ~ midday today, but none larger than D 1.5 and few running past transition to shallower slope angles. All confined to steep slopes (~40*) below steep, rocky terrain. Unable to trigger loose snow avalanches on short, steep S-facing test slopes mid-afternoon. Rollerballs, but no sheeting or entrainment.
