Snowpack
Snowpit near treeline 11400' N aspect protected from the wind: 140cm snow depth. 10cm new snow. Thin cohesive 3F layer at appx 130cm, unresponsive in all tests. 4F facets from 30 to ground. CT19 failed at ground. Continued compression tests after ground yielded no results in the snowpack - entire column remained cohesive. Above treeline: wind affected surface, minimal crust/slab. Snow depth as low as 40cm on N facing aspects.
Avalanche
No new avalanche activity. Several possible old slides observed on E facing slopes far above treeline.
