Light to no snow precip today with light to moderate periods of western winds. Obscured sky's with visibility limited to 5 miles.

Locals reported 2ft plus storm snow in the Hahn's peak/Steamboat Lake area accompanied by equally impressive winds. HS162, Valley floor (no defined aspect), 8500ft. All visible ridge lines and fetch areas reflected that news with fresh new cornice roofs. There are two reactive layers grouped near todays snow surface between 22 & 30 cm's down. These showed a range of results @ 22cm down:CT-E Q1 SP (x3) and 30cm down: CT-E Q1 SP (x2). Two persistent slabs are visible, but the lower one was unresponsive today. The surface from late Januarys dry period is the upper presist, 118cm off the ground or 40cm down from the surface, produced multiple results: CT-M Q2 RP. Ski Pen of boat top, Boot pen was up to your hip.
