Snowpack: 2-4" of recent storm snow over melt-freeze crusts that formed on Tuesday. Some touchy phone-book sized windslabs. Good refreeze at lower elevations. Avalanches: Continue to see evidence of large avalanche activity from last cycle (estimated failures on Sunday or Monday). One deep slab on Cement Mtn on N to NW aspect near treeline, appeared to fail near the ground (HS-N-R3/D3-O) and some large windslabs in Peeler Basin (SS-N-R2/D2.5-U) on NE aspects above treeline.
