Weather

Cold Southwest wind anytime you broke out of the trees. Couple clouds here and there, close to bluebird.

Snowpack

Found from 115 to 155 cm of snow along the route. Surface crust was from 20 to 30 cm thick & quite supportive. Winds seemed to help keep snow surface cool where it was exposed to the wind.

Avalanche

Scoped a couple small avalanches across the valley. Suspect these ran on or around the last storm on 4-4-15? One appeared to be skier triggered (WLASR1D1) on a SW aspect above TL. The other off a more SW aspect looked like it was triggered by a rock fall?
