Weather
A warm, calm, beautiful day. Crisp morning, but heated up quickly as soon as the sun came out.
Snowpack
New snow BTL and NTL on sunny slopes had settled to 2-3". ~5" on N facing slopes. Sitting on a very substantial crust on all but the shadiest N-facing slopes. Performed two ECTs on N-facing slopes, one BTL, one NTL, both ECTN in upper snowpack, no results on lower facets. Snowpack still dry on N facing slopes, but facets have done a lot of rounding. A slab has finally developed on shady BTL slopes, but the facets have rounded enough to not developed a Persistent Slab problem. Shallow (HS 50cm) melt-freeze snowpack on W-SW-S slopes BTL.
