Skies obscured all day. Winds moderate gusting to strong from the WNW. S-1 at 10:00 am increasing to S1-2 by 2:00 pm. Moderate blowing snow. Temps estimated low 20s.

Snowpack

~10cm new snow overnight, with a few more cm from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. More on the north side of the pass. Obvious wind loading and fresh cornices on the Prospect ridgeline. Back on carbon mountain, surface hoar/NSF down 30 was unreactive to hand shears. New snow sluffed easily on steeper rollovers, no cohesion yet.
