Snowpack
12"-20" of new snow out of this recent storm on top of a solid base. No cracking or whumphing throughout our morning tour. Snow started to show signs of warming by mid-day.
Avalanche
Lots of activity on the west aspects of Fletcher and Drift that likely came down sometime Thursday 5/18. Looks like most of the NW face of drift sloughed out and left piles of debris at least 5' deep in spots. Debris was still soft-ish and had a couple of fresh inches on it from the previous night. There were no defined crown lines that we could see, but a lot of point releases.
