Weather

Light snow, ending in afternoon. 4" new near treeline. 0-10 mph NW winds.

Snowpack

4" new snow over variable but stable base. Wind crust evident in some places under the new snow. No signs of instability under foot or machine during our tour.

Avalanche

Observed 1 natural slab avalanche on an wind-loaded E aspect above treeline. Looked like it slid this morning and was about 12" deep. 50-75' wide and ran 300-400 feet.
