It was cold and sunny with some wind. Then got a little warmer. Snow was pretty good. More salt texture than powder. We stayed away from big open bowl, tuck to the trees and less steep slopes. Sight of one small slab avalanche farther in the backcountry definitely sun affected, want there in the morning. Felt pretty stable, good riding. Probed 170 cm at about 1950 m.
