Takakkaw Falls

Skied in to check out Takakkaw Falls (see pic). We didn’t end up climbing it. The area received 15cm fresh snow from between Sunday (27th) and mid day on Monday. Valley bottom winds were calm/light and we were unable to observe any upper ridgetop winds. We observed sluffing out of steep rocky terrain around Tak falls and across the valley a loose sz. 1 avalanche in steep skiable terrain on a NE aspect around 1650m triggered by the recent storm loading.
