Penetration Test: 10cm F to 25cm 1F (hard layer) to 40cm 4F to 125cm 1F ECT 17 fracture at 25cm. Did not propagate. After test pulled column - pop at 25cm on the crust. Snow was heavy. At higher elevations 1800+ thin crust but easy to break through and made for nice skiing.
