Good Skiing: is it really 1st May tomorrow?

Myself and an aspiring ski guide climbed and skiied Mt. Olive today. Settled snowpack on all aspects except due north in the alpine where we found up to 15 cm of new.
Based on information from our ACMG colleagues at Parks, we decided against skiing the west face of Olive and instead descended the north ridge. We skiied the direct line off the ice and didn't find any wind slab in that zone.
