Skied Gorge 15km zone on Monday Dec 9. About 30cm of fresh snow. Conditions are great. We skied low angle slopes and some isolated steeper slopes with clean run outs. There was some evidence of wind slab/shooting cracks on the ridge tops. However, once in the trees, there were no signs of instability. No signs of storm slab. We tried to ski cut a few small convexities in the trees and did not have any reactivity. We had some some sluffing in steeper areas. Lots of loaded logging trucks coming down the road, make sure you have your radio!
