Today in the Hasler we saw several avalanches, on North to East Asps at ALP and TL on wind loaded slopes. Natural activity up to size 2 and machine triggered size 1. Shooting cracks were also observed, moderate winds were redistributing the snow forming wind slabs below ridge tops. Best riding was lower in the valley in protected trees away from the wind. Wind affected areas were pretty stiff but still able to sink a ski with a bit more effort. Dug a quick pit on a wind loaded North aspect at 1600m in TL HS was 222cm with the Dec 6th crust down 117 ECTP 27 on Facets above the crust. This crust varies in depth between 55cm and 120cm. Avg HS 145cm at TL. Temps ranged from -1 at the truck and -6.5 at TL @1600m
